“Elina Filice has never been the kind of artist who fits neatly into a box, and honestly, that’s the whole point.” - The Beat

Singer-songwriter Elina Filice has released a triumphant new alt-pop single "Bury Me".
With infectious rhythms, stuck-in-your head melodies, and a heart-wrenching message, Elina reaches for your heart with this energetic Canadiana anthem. Nostalgic punk-pop meets modern charms and creative storytelling in a strong contender for your gay song of the Summer.
Elina says, "The song is about an old Molson Canadian t-shirt stolen from me by a past love. It became a running joke between us who's shirt it was, and that I was never getting it back. One night she said, "You know, if I die tonight, they'll have to bury me in this shirt, and then you’re never gonna get it back." It starts as a song about a shirt, and then becomes a song about realising along the way the love you want to be buried in, the love you never want to take back."
The song is about the seemingly ordinary artefacts that narrate our lives. They hold our secrets and our stories. It's about the accidental life you build with someone when sharing your hopes, dreams, fears, and clothes.

PRESS FEEDBACK ON ELINA'S MARCH RELEASE, "THESE DAYS"
"Driven by a steadfast rhythm and infectious, memorable melodies, the song powerfully conveys both hope and deep yearning." - Hot Press
“Elina Filice has never been the kind of artist who fits neatly into a box, and honestly, that’s the whole point. With a sound that drifts somewhere between soulful melody, bluesy grit, and the intimate cadence of spoken word, Filice writes songs that feel less like performances and more like conversations.” - The Beat
“Her voice carries an unvarnished, expressive quality that makes the song feel immediate and confessional” - Dulaxi
“What makes this release stand out even more is Elina Filice’s ability to tell stories that feel lived-in... Indie pop with a mix of warmth and ache... blending soulful melodies with touches of blues and spoken word... adding depth to what could have been a simple pop record. Instead, “These Days” becomes something more immersive, a snapshot of love stretched across distance, held together by memories and the promise of more time.” - Rotate Magazine
“A song that feels equally intimate and expansive — the kind of release that invites listeners to scream along in the car while quietly reflecting on their own stories of distance and devotion.” - SongLens
